Club Acoustic began in a small room at the Old Clubhouse in 1999, nearly 25 years ago. We’ve had our ‘home’ there ever since, apart from a short period in the middle when we met at The Eagle and then The Sun.
However, The Old Clubhouse are about to start some refurbishment work prior to changing the way they use their space. They have told us that our Club Acoustic meetings won’t fit in with their future plans.
We have some good ideas for the future, but have yet to agree a long term location for our musical sessions.
However, Club Acoustic will have our final Open Session at the Old Clubhouse this coming Wednesday, April 17th.
What happens then? Err – watch this space!!
